Karel founded RuKa JUDO in April 2017. He has led the club since the very first training.

Our coaches share the same philosophy — judo is not about medals, it is about the way.
Coaching team
Karel is supported in the dojo by coaches and assistants. Filip and Adam are (or soon will be) 3rd-class Czech Judo Federation coaches; the others help with training, conditioning, and randori. Photos and full bios will be added as coaches send them to us.

Karel's son — a family business on the tatami. Returned to judo after years of elite canoeing.

Assistant coach with long experience working with children. Lead organiser of club tournaments and competitions.

Assistant coach
Assistant coach and active judoka. Brought his own children to judo — and became part of the coaching team himself.
